In modern grand prix racing, drivers lift off the throttle before a corner and coast to save battery. Everyone moans about it on Sunday afternoon, so naturally we built a whole kart racing game around it.

Is Lift & Coast Karting free to play?
Yes. Lift & Coast Karting is free to download on the App Store with all 50 karts, the circuit, offline racing, and live online multiplayer included. There are no adverts and no loot boxes.
What does lift and coast mean in racing?
In Formula 1, lifting and coasting means easing off the throttle before a braking zone to save energy. Fans usually complain about it on television, so we made it the main skill: throttle drains your battery, lifting and braking recharge it fast, and below 20% your kart slows down.
Which iPhones and iPads can run the game?
Lift & Coast Karting requires iOS 15 or later and runs on both iPhone and iPad—no race licence needed. You steer by tilting your device like a wheel with brake and throttle under your thumbs, making it an easy-to-learn racing game for iPhone or a free racing game on iPad.
Is Lift & Coast Karting available on Android?
An Android version for Google Play is coming soon. For now, you can play free on iPhone and iPad via the App Store.
How can I play online kart racing with friends?
One player hosts a private Race Night room and shares the invite link or room code in your group chat. Joining a friend's room is always free, and you can race 1 to 10 laps with or without AI karts and track a full championship points table.
How does the instant 50-kart online multiplayer work?
There are no lobbies or matchmaking queues. Tap race and if a race is underway, you take over an AI kart mid-race after a three-second countdown; if not, a new 50-kart race starts immediately. Real drivers show a ★ on the timing tower, minimap, and name tags.
Does the game work offline without internet?
Yes. When you are on a plane, underground, or simply offline, you can race against a full grid of 49 AI karts with your race engineer still on the radio.
Is Lift & Coast Karting pay-to-win?
No. All 50 karts share identical performance and the same battery. Optional extras are mostly voice packs, hosting private race nights, or a tip jar, plus optional AA batteries that give a small, temporary ten-race boost for your own races.
Which languages does the race engineer speak?
